Mrinal has scripted for serials like Rajani, Kahin Kisi Roz, Kya Haadsa Kya Haqeeqat, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahoo Thi, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Maayka and Zee’s leading show, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo as well as the stunning new Star Plus Drama – Kaali – Ek Agni Pariksha; enabling her to communicate with millions of Indians regularly for the last 17 years. Abhigyan Jha as a scriptwriter has penned over 1500 episodes of various popular television shows including Tum Bin Jaaoon Kahan, Maano Ya Na Maano, Yeh Hai Raaz, Rajni & Commander. Undercover Productions Ltd. recently created yet another landmark show ‘Kaali - Ek Agnipariksha’ which began its telecast on Star Plus from 13th September at 11 pm. Starring - Ashutosh Rana, Mrinal Kulkarni, Sonali Kulkarni & Arif Zakaria, the show is a far cry from the soaps currently airing on Television. It is about a teenage girl, Rachna who dreams of becoming India’s next badminton star, and is brutally molested and threatened by 'Thakral', a powerful Western UP Mahabali, played superbly by Ashutosh Rana in perhaps the most nuanced role of his career.
